Our Programs.
Our at-home learning lessons are broken up into daily lesson plans and require very little setup.
Core Classes
Grades Preschool to 12th
8:00 am to 12:30 pm
High Point Hybrid Tutorials will be using curriculum from The Good and the Beautiful. Language arts, Mathematics, Science, and History will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Students grades kindergarten thru high school will be given assignments to complete at home on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Preschool ages 3 and 4 students will use the Playing Preschool curriculum as well as the Good and the Beautiful Curiculum for their class time. No homework or extra assignments will be sent home for these classes.
High school students will be able to take High School English, Pre Algebra or Algebra 1, Physical Science or Biology or Chemistry, and U.S. History/Civics.
Students will need to bring a sack lunch if they are staying with us for lunch. PreK through 1st grade lunch is from 12-12:30 and 2nd grade through high school lunch is from 12:30-1:00. A Bible class is provided from 8:00-8:30 daily.
Good and the Beautiful Curriculum
The Good and the Beautiful is leading a movement to return children to a love of wholesome literature that strengthens families and that creates beautiful hearts and minds.
Hands-on activities
Our classes are designed to keep your child engaged, whether it’s learning how to draw the solar system or memorizing a song about the seasons.
Supplies you own
You’ll be able to utilize or recycle supplies you already have at home to complete lesson activities that teachers send home. We’ll provide you with alternative options as well.
Electives
Grades Preschool to 12th
Electives are open to all students. You may add these classes onto the end of your students day, or just sign up for electives. Your choice!
Robotics
The objective of this course is to introduce students to the field of Robotics and stimulate their interests in science and engineering through the participation of the entire engineering design process. This course covers a variety of multidisciplinary topics necessary to understand the fundamentals of designing, building, and programming robots. During this course, students will be required to gradually complete the design and construction of a robot using the Vex Robotic System
Physical Education
This class will include active and playful games, some strength training, lessons on anatomy and a variety of activities that make physical fitness fun. There will be hula hooping, body weight exercises, and traditional PE games such as dodge ball. The focus of this class is to experience many different physical activities to grow interest and curiosity in physical education.
Home Economics
5th grade and up
In this class, students will learn skills for basic household management. We will take a hands-on approach to topics such as sewing (by hand and machine), garment repair, upcycling/repurposing household materials, social etiquette & hospitality, meal planning on a budget, basic cooking and baking skills and more!
Health and Wellness
Tuesdays, 6th -12th Grade
This class counts as a High School Credit.
Each content area is addressed in a classroom and/or physical activity setting. Nutrition and Personal Fitness will be emphasized and integrated throughout the course. Students will acquire knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being throughout their lifetime.

Cooking
Ages 5 and up
This class will take place weekly for the 2024-25 school year. You can sign up for months indivdually, or sign up for the entire semester. Each month, students will learn about and create foods from a different country.
Music Education
Students will learn basic music education plus how to play recorders, boomwackers, hand bells and sing lots of fun songs. A Christmas and spring performance is planned for each semester.
This class may count as a high school credit.
Introduction to Dance
Students will start by learning some fun dances to build coordination and fluid movement. They will perform for the Christmas program and also in the Spring play. We want this to be a fun and engaging class for everyone.
Psychology
Course provides an overview of the history of psychological study from a Christian perspective. As well as the psychological basis for behavior, personality development, learning and memory, emotions, etc which are some of the major topics covered in the course. Students will develop an appreciation for the dynamics of human behavior while appreciating the dignity of the human person.

Chess
Chess Club is designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and to enjoy challenging their peers, while experiencing healthy competition and team spirit. Chess is used to develop critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making. While the students will have the chance to track their progress and to compete in chess matches, our main focus will be to encourage learning, sportsmanship, and fun.
